Recipe: Jif Peanut Butter Fudge

JIF PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE

3 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 (5 1/3 oz.) can (2/3 cup) evaporated milk
1 cup Jif Peanut Butter
1 (7 to 10-oz.) jar marshmallow creme
1 tsp. vanilla

In a heavy 2 1/2 quart saucepan, combine sugar, butter or margarine and evaporated milk. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.

Remove from heat. Add Jif, stirring till melted. Add marshmallow creme and vanilla; beat till well blended.

Spread in a buttered 9x13-inch pan. Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate.

Cut into squares when firm.

Makes 3 pounds
