Recipe: Layered Tomato and Cottage Cheese Salad

Layered Tomato & Cottage Cheese Salad:
From:Woman's Day Cookbook of Favorite Recipes.
Serves:6

2 c.cottage cheese
1/3 c.mayonnaise
1 green onion,chopped or 1 Tbls.chopped chives
6 stuffed olives,chopped
salt & pepper
6 large tomatoes
lettuce

Mix first four ingredients.Season with salt & pepper.Cut a thin slice from stem ends of tomatoes,remove cores,cut each tomato into 3 slices.Put slices together with cheese mixture to make 6 servings.

Serve on lettuce or other salad greens & top with remaining cheese mixture.
