Recipe: Lipton's Meat Loaf (Lipton Onion Soup Mix recipe, 1950's)

LIPTON'S MEAT LOAF

2 eggs
3/4 cup warm water
1/3 cup catsup
1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1.1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
2 pounds beef, ground

Break eggs into bowl; beat slightly. Stir in catsup, warm water and soup mix. Add bread crumbs, ground beef and mix well. Shape into loaf or pack in pan.

Bake in moderate (350 degree F) oven one hour.

Makes 6 servings
