Recipe: Macaroni and Cheese

Macaroni and Cheese

1 can evaporated milk
1 small onion, chopped
3 c. uncooked maraconi pasta
1 can mushroom soup
3 c. shredded cheese

set aside 1/2 c. of the evap. milk. to the rest of the milk, add enough water to make 4 1/2 c. liquid. put this liquid into large pot, add onion, bring to boil, add pasta and simmer, UNCOVERED over med til pasta is done(DO NOT DRAIN !!!). add soup, cheese and reserved milk, cook and stir over low til melted, add salt and pepper as required.
