Recipe: Maryl's Pot Roast with Beer for Sandwiches (crock pot)

Maryl's Pot Roast for Sandwiches (crock pot)

Just season the meat then put in crock pot set to low. Cover with beer and add a bay leaf. Start the night before you want to serve it and cook all day.

The best way to eat this is to make sandwiches, Take two slices of rye bread spread with spicy brown or regular yellow mustard , Pile meat on bread then top with second slice of bread. Put a dollop of mustard and a little bit of the meat on top then pour some of the liquid you cooked the meat in over the whole thing, You can make them a soggy as you like (I like mine really soggy) Eat with knife and fork.
