Recipe(tried): Open-face Bacon and Swiss on Rye

Sandwiches
A friend of mine made this simple sandwich for lunch one day when I visited her many, many years ago; it's different and tastey. I cannot recall what she served with it, but I like a fresh green salad or fruit salad and iced tea. Great on a HOT day when you don't want to cook, and can use a toaster oven to prepare it.

Slices of Rye Bread
3to 4 slices of cooked bacon (Pepper bacon would be really yummy)
Slice of Swiss on top

Place in broiler for a few minutes to melt and brown cheese.
