Recipe: Pan Fried Liver Sausage (1940's)

PAN FRIED LIVER SAUSAGE

"Dip 1/2-inch thick slices of braunschweiger (liver sausage) in beaten egg, then into cracker meal.
Brown slowly in melted butter.
Serve with tartar sauce and spiced crab apples."
