Recipe: Pecan Bars, Sad Cake Bars, and Bisquick Bars with Coconut (all using biscuit mix)
Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, BarsPECAN BARS
1 (1 lb) box brown sugar
2 cups Bisquick
2 cups chopped pecans
4 eggs, beaten
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
Mix ingredients together and put in prepared pan.
Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
SAD CAKE BARS
1 (1 lb) box light brown sugar
2 cups Bisquick
1 cup chopped pecans
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
Mix all ingredients together. Pour into greased pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Cake will rise and then fall. When it falls it's ready to take out of oven.
BISQUICK BARS
1 (1 lb) box light brown sugar
3 eggs
2 cups Bisquick
1 can coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
Beat sugar and eggs together. Stir in remaining ingredients. Place in prepared pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 35 minutes. Do not overbake.
