PECAN BARS
1 (1 lb) box brown sugar
2 (1 cup) sticks margarine, softened
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
Cream together brown sugar and margarine. Add eggs, flour, baking powder, nuts and vanilla.
Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Allow to cool and cut into squares.
BUTTER PECAN BARS
2 sticks (1 cup) margarine, melted
1 box light brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups self rising flour
2 cups chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
Add sugar and eggs to melted margarine. Stir in flour. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
