Recipe(tried): Quick and Easy Sugar Cookies - Micha...Not an authentic shortbread but the most buttery,

crisp little cookies you will ever eat. Everyone loves these:

QUICK & EASY SUGAR COOKIES

2 sticks margarine
1 cup sugar
1-1/2 cup flour
dash salt
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream together margarine and sugar, add to and mix with flour and salt. Mix together vinegar and soda and add to cookie mixture. Add vanilla and mix well. Roll into balls about 1" and flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake 8-10 min. at 350 deg. on a non stick cookie sheet.

By the way, sounds like you have recovered from your bear encounter. I am sure that I would still be shaking!
