Recipe: Quick Beef Pie

Quick Beef Pie

1-1/2 lbs. Ground beef
1 medium-size onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (15 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
1 (15 oz.) can cut green beans, drained
1/4 tsp. pepper
1-1/2 cups seasoned mashed potatoes
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Crumble beef into large frying pan. Add onion and salt and cook until browned. Drain. Add soup, green beans and pepper; simmer 5 minutes. Pour into greased 2-quart casserole. Drop potatoes in mounds on hot meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
