SWEET PEA SALAD
2 Tbsp. scallions, chopped
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
1/4 cup celery hearts, chopped
1/3 cup mayonnaise
Black pepper to taste
Dill weed, to taste
1 (15 oz.) can peas, drained
4 Tbsp. crushed pineapple, drained well
Thoroughly mix scallions, cheese, celery, mayonnaise, pepper and dill.
Gently add peas. Add pineapple last. Refrigerate.
Please, do not over stir those tender peas!
Servings: 6
