BISCUITS (refrigerator)
5 cups flour
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup shortening
3 tbsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. yeast dissolved in 2 tbsp. water
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
Mix all together in food processor. Just enough to gather together. Then remove and knead just a bit to make into a ball and place in a plastic bag. Remove all possible air from bag. Store in refrigerator until needed.
TO BAKE:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Grease a baking sheet.
Remove the amount of dough you need and replace remainder in bag and refrigerate again.
Roll and cut the dough you removed into biscuits. Place on prepared sheet.
Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.
