Recipe(tried): Sausage Wontons, Oriental Chicken Wings, Stuffed Jalapenos - Appetizers for Claudette?FL
Appetizers and Snacks Claudette,
Here are some of the recipes I made last night. Everything turned out great except for the crab bread. I didn't have the mixture right, but will try another time. Hope you enjoy these. Sorry I didn't post them yesterday.
Sausage Wontons (These are delicious and easy)
1 lb. browned and drained sausage
2 c. shredded monterey jack or cheddar
1 c. ranch dressing(maybe a little more)
1 chopped red pepper
1 pkg. wonton wrappers
Mix all of the above except wrappers in a bowl. Add more dressing if mix is dry. Press wontons in muffins tins(1 in each cup) and bake 5 minutes at 350. Remove from oven and fill wrappers with mixture. Bake 5 minutes or until bubbly.
Oriental Chicken Wings (My family loved these last night)
2 lbs. frozen chicken wings
1 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. sugar
1 t. garlic salt
Place wings in large baking pan. Mix together ingredients and pour over wings. Bake uncovered in 325 oven for 2 hours. Turn wings over after 1 hour.
Stuffed Jalapenos (I tried this for the first time last night and they were great.
8 oz cream cheese (soft)
1 1/2 or 2 c. shredded cheese(monterey, cheddar, or both)
1 t. garlic salt
Mix all together making sure mixture is not stiff. Cut jalapenos in halves and remove seeds. Stuff peppers and roll top in bread crumbs. Bake at 300 for 30 min.
