Recipe(tried): Smoothie Recipe

Beverages
I have been making a great smoothie from a recipe I found in the tofu section of my grocery store. I have been using strawberries, but it would probably taste ok using either canned or fresh pineapple, too.

Tofu Smoothie

1 pkg. soft tofu
1/2 cup frozen lemondade concentrate, thawed
1 cup milk ( I sometimes use more if it seems too thick)
1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries in light syrup, thawed

Blend all ingredients on high speed in blender.

Note: In the summer I was using fresh berries, also. If the smoothie isn't sweet enough, you could add a little honey or maple syrup. I usually find it's just fine. I love them, and so do my 4 year old and 1 year old. They're a great "meal in a glass" with protein, fibre/fruit, and calcium.

Hope this helps.
