Soft White Cookies (using buttermilk)

Makes about 50 cookies

2 cups sugar
1 cup butter, creamed
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Cream butter well with sugar; add eggs and beat well. Add buttermilk and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to other mixture and stir.

Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar (no harm in adding cinnamon if you like! PB).

Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
