Recipe(tried): Spaghetti Sauce with Sweet Italian Sausages

Main Dishes - Pasta, Sauces
Hello Gina,
Your recipe for the spaghetti sauce made with Ragu Sauce in very close to the way I first started making it. However, after experimenting with making it several different ways I discovered this one 3 yrs ago and everyone goes wild over it and begs for the recipe. The flavor is incredible.

SPAGHETTI SAUCE AND SWEET ITALIAN SAUSAGES

2 Jars Ragu roasted garlic spaghetti sauce
1 small onion, chopped
2 large cloves garlic, chopped
Enough olive oil to saute the onions and garlic
1 pkg (6 sausages) Sweet Italian sausage

In the bottom of a 5 quart Dutch oven, or similar size pan, saute the onions and garlic in the olive oil until clear and soft, do not brown.

Pour in the Ragu sauce and stir until combined. Bring the sauce up to a slow boil, and immediately add all of the whole sausages. Turn the heat down to a simmer for approx 20 minutes; just long enough for the sausage to cook.

Serve over cooked spaghetti. My favorite is Angel Hair.
