Recipe(tried): Splenda In Baking

We have family members w/diabetes & we have all learned how to cook & bake with either less or no sugar. As for the Splenda ~ well, I did a pretty sneaky thing - I put it into my baked goods & did not tell a soul. My husband suggested to me one day that I start to use it since he's diabetic. I just smiled & told him he has already been eating it in everything I baked ~ & he didn't even notice the difference!! Actually, the people at his work never realized it either!! I either use the amt called for, or, I cut it back just a bit as it tends to be a bit sweeter than sugar. I've tried other non sugar sweeteners - and my personal opinion can be summed up in one word - YUCK!
My personal opinion is all that is!!
