Recipe: Stuffed Oranges

STUFFED ORANGES
Serves 8
8 oranges
Cut slice from top of oranges and scoop out pulp, reserving shell. (Save pulp and use for orange juice). Pack inside of oranges with orange sherbet and put in freezer while you make meringue.
Beat 3 egg whites with 1/2 cup sugar until stiff peaks form. Spoon over oranges being sure to seal at edge of shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 3 - 5 minutes or until meringue is lightly browned.
These can be wrapped and frozen.
