Recipe: Sure-To-Please Chicken (using condensed cheddar cheese soup, freeze ahead)

4 pounds chicken parts
4 tablespoons shortening
2 cans (10 3/4 ounces each) Campbell's Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup
4 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
2 cups raw regular rice
2 soup cans water
2 cups chopped canned tomatoes
2 packages (9 ounces each) frozen Italian green beans
Note: Prepare in 2 (10-inch) skillets by dividing ingredients equally.
Brown chicken in shortening.
Add soup, seasonings. Cover; simmer 15 minutes.
Add rice, water, tomatoes, and beans. Bring to boil; stir to separate beans. Reduce heat. Cook covered 30 minutes more or until rice is done. Stir often.
TO FREEZE AHEAD:
Prepare as above reducing cooking time to 10 minutes after adding rice and remaining ingredients. Arrange in two (2-quart) shallow baking dishes (12x8x2-inch); cover. Store in freezer. To reheat: Place covered casserole in cold oven. Turn oven to 400 degrees F and bake for 1 hour 30 minutes or until hot.
