Crisco just came out with a transfat free version. I baked some cookies with it and they turned out great.
Now I haven't tried this recipe with wheat free flour but I have with regular wheat flour and I'm thinking it won't make a difference - anyway an easy crust recipe is 1 cup of flour and 1 stick of butter or margerine. I use the I can't believe its not butter light. I melt the stick of butter in the microwave - dump the flour and butter in the pie plate and mix it up and spread it out in the pan. Put in the filling and bake.
