Triple Peanut Blondies

Makes 20
1 (18 1/4 ounces) package French vanilla cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 egg
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup unsalted peanuts, chopped
1 cup mini chocolate-covered peanut butter cups, coarsely chopped
Heat oven to 350F. Coat a 13x9-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Place cake mix, butter, eggs, peanut butter and buttermilk in large bowl. On low speed, beat 1 minutes, until combined. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Add peanuts. On low speed, beat just until combined. Spread evenly in pan.
Bake for 25 minutes. Sprinkle peanut butter cups over top. Bake 10 minutes, until candies begin to melt. Let cool in pan on a wire rack.
