ISO: apple kuchen using biscuit mix

Many years ago, maybe 40 or so, my mother liked an apple kuchen recipe made with a biscuit mix, sliced apples and cinnamon on the top and no cream cheese. (We love Philly Cream Cheese in our cheesecake, but not in our kuchen.) I think the recipe was on the box. My mother is craving some of this kuchen. Is there anyone who can help us with the answer? Thank you very much.
