ISO: Cake in a Cup

Misc.
This past Sunday on the Food Network Challenge, one woman made the cake in a cup in the oven, baking several individual desserts at one time. From what I could understand she used 3 kinds of chocolate and added a merangue topping. Any suggestions or ideas about this.

Thank you.
