ISO: Cake in Cup From scratch recipe?

PLEASE PLEASE someone tell me if you think this recipe would work in the oven with a from scratch recipe. I have a recipe everyone loves and people keep asking for it rather than my banana nut bread. Which I give out at Christmas. And I am not looking forward to making Individual Cakes for everyone. I am wanting to bake it and shrink wrap it and give like one would banana nut bread..Except I know that I will have less bake ahead time. I am not worried about the people trying to save the Cake in a Cup, No One can resist it. IF you like the ingredients. :o) I'm not bragging. I'm going by peoples reaction to it. It's a hit at all my Fiance's retirement parties at GM. Always the first desert to go.
