ISO: Cheese soup?

Hello,
I am looking for a recipe called "Wisconsin Cheese Soup". My husband and I had
it in a restaurant and it was very smooth and creamy. I tried making a recipe I
found but it had pureed potatoes in it and tasted grainy, ick. Would someone
have a recipe without potatoes? I did a search and found some beer cheese soup,
if I have no luck here I will try that. Thank you.
