ISO: Helms Bakery Cinnamon Rolls?
Misc.Dear Daughter of Helms in Montebello:
Maybe you knew the way they made the cinnamon rolls. It was a hard dough, rather thin, rolled up with a butter-sugar-cinnamon mixture and then very thinly sliced. It was the best thing I have ever tasted. I mean absolutely ever. It wasn't a soft swimming Cinnabon type thing. It was almost as hard as a rock, with wonderfully thick interlayering of cinnamon. I mean the dough was rather thin, and the cinnamon layer was thicker. Does this sound familiar? It was unbelievably good. Thank you, if you know.
