ISO: Looking for a Chili recipe...with

Misc.
Hey all... It's been a while since I've last posted. I am looking for a really GREAT chili recipe. I know Chili is one of those recipes that many people have very strong feelings about (some people say real chili only has beans...others say say... never beans ... only meat...), and yet I have yet to find the "ONE"

I have tried a number of different recipes, however I am not completely satisfied with any of them. In a perfect world, the chili I am looking for has Beans, Chunks of meat (maybe ribs...maybe beef...maybe pork ???), in a tomato based sauce. It is thick, and hearty, and has a smokey flavor, as well as a little bite of heat...but not too much.

Do any of you have a family recipe or an old favorite that might fit the ticket???

Thanks everyone. I know if this chili recipe is out there, you all will be able to help me find it!!!!
