Recipe: Molasses Everything Cookies (using white baking chips and walnuts)

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 large egg
1/4 cup unsulphured molasses
2 cups (12-ounce package) white chocolate chips (such as Nestle Premier White)
1 cup finely chopped walnuts (for rolling)
Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and salt in small bowl; set aside.
Beat sugar and butter in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in egg and molasses. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chips. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or until slightly firm.
WHEN READY TO BAKE:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in walnuts. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Makes about 1 1/2 dozen cookies
