ISO: Mee Hun - Thank You: Still haven't found what I'm looking for

Still haven't found what I'm looking for... definitly no ketchup in the recipe I like. I'm now told it is a 'penang' recipe, said the owner of the malaysian/singapore restaurant where I purchase this... it has a smokey flavour to it and the noodles are brown because they've been cooked in a sauce. I suppose it's the sauce I need the receipe for, the rest I can figure it out... any ideas?
