ISO: Schroeder's Bakery Anise Cookies

Misc.
Growing up in Buffalo, my mom would head out to Schroeder's Bakery around the holidays for these light-colored, pastel-frosted cookies with Anise flavoring. They were a family favorite. The bakery is now gone and our family is in search of the recipe. This looks like it may be right, I'll try it. Does anyone know the cookies I'm referring to?
