Thank You: Eye of the round roast with mushroom soup question

Thank you very much. Just out of curiosity, I wonder why it wouldn't be better to mix the condensed soup and the dry mix together before pouring it atop the meat? Oh well, I'm sure it's ben tried different ways and the one listed is the best! Thanks again.

Hi again David, When I make this dish I usually sprinkle the dry soup mix on the meat and then top with the soup. But you certainly may combine the dry mix with the soup if you'd like. I think the reason it usually isn't mixed in is to keep the recipe as quick and simple as possible (no bowls to wash) since the results are basically the same. Keep on cooking! Betsy
