Thank You: June - Re: Butter vs margarine...

Hi June, I thought there probably was a difference as I know margarine has more water content than butter.

I went out earlier and picked up a package of the stick margarine. I've been on a baking spree and am sure it will soon be used up. :)

Didn't get to baking earlier as I had planned though. Had to go out and pick up a gazillion branches from all over our property. We got walloped yesterday and overnight with a severe wind/snow/ice storm. The neighbourhood looks just awful. It was nice to look at as all the trees had an ice coating but it's all melting today and there's flooding and power outages and downed trees all over Toronto. Not good... :(

Baking will have to wait until either tomorrow or Sunday. I'm going to try your Molasses Cookie Recipe (Robert E. Lee Gingersnaps) and will be sure to post back with the results.
