Thank You: Thanks for the good wishes manyhats,

Misc.
I was pretty bummed at first facing this change in diet, I had been doing so well cutting things out already, now here were more restrictions! Besides, the Bible says to give no thought what ye shall eat or drink and that's kinda hard when you have to plan so much. Of course, being a foodie, I have given thought to what I'll eat or drink most of my life, so I guess it's just a different kind of thought now. I bought the book Eat More, Weigh Less by Dr. Dean Ornish along with Everyday Cooking with Dr. Dean Ornish. I marked many, many recipes, especially in the later. If someone had had open heart surgery, (where they would be MUCH MORE exhausted than I am) and they didn't like to cook, this would be quite the challange of a diet. Thankfully, mine surgeries were both caths and I'm tired, but not exhausted. Also, I LOVE to cook, so I'm throwing myself into this and have already made the Pumpkin Spice Bars, Spicy Mexican Rice and Corn Pancakes. All were huge sucesses and the size of the Pumpkin Bars surprised me. Very tasty recipes and I look forward to trying more.-Micha
