Costa Rica Was Beautiful Gladys! (photos added)

Misc.
Hello Gladys,

Costa Rica was a tropical enchantment much like your own paradise I suppose. The heat did bother me though. Thank goodness for the cold AC in our room.

I enjoyed myself at the spa getting a pedicure and manicure one day and on another day I got a massage and a facial. We opted out of the canopy tour and the river raft tour. After my "beauty treatments", I would join DH down by the pool where there were little tiki huts with lounge chairs to read on.

Because it was an all-inclusive deal, one wore this little green band around your wrist allowing you to eat from the pool grill or one of the many restaurants as well as drinks from the pool bar.

The dinner at Hacienda Ciudad Blanca was very delicious and they had an open market with many typical Costa Rican wares to be sold. I bought a beautiful purse made of long twirly wood sticks with wooden polished handles.

This is a picture of the colorful dancers at the market.

And here a man rolls out handmade cigars. You could buy authentic Cuban cigars and smoke them but you could not bring them back to the states.

This man is making pottery.

Gladys, the Costa Rican people are very friendly and want only to please you. It is a beautiful country lush with tropical plants.

I hope you are feeling much better these days!
