David....

Misc.

Dearest David,
It is so sweet to see the name Beulah...that was my grandmother's name and she was the only one I ever heard of with that name! It brings back so many sweet memories of her...she also was the one who nurtured my love of cooking!!
Every Sunday was church and a big "supper" at grandma's after. Great southern dishes...complete with so many dishes...entrees...vegi dishes...and wonderful desserts!! Those were the days!! I only regret not having her recipes...she prepared everything without them and left none behind...as I got older I did watch and learn somethings but unfortunately not nearly as much as I would like to pass on. What you are doing in compiling and sharing family recipes is wonderful and will be cherished by generations of your family to come and no doubt all the others here at TKL as well!! Thank you so much for your generosity of sharing not only the recipes but the ever so sweet history behind them!
Peace to you David,
Your appreciative TKL pal BB :-)
