Currently you can get a model V845 for $70 at (That's newer than mine)
Also, keep an eye open for when a new model is launched, the retail stores will mark down the old ones. Also, check the outlet stores (if you have any near you) and check locally for someone who bought an upgrade and wants to sell the older model. Sometimes you can find an older model on ebay.
The initial investment is well worth it.
