Janet: These are wonderful, wonderful, more

Misc.

Hi Janet;
The dessert recipes look great. I have such a good selection of recipes from you that I think I could have these folks spend a couple of weeks instead of just a few days.
It does make me feel really good that Deb is also benefiting from my request and your responses.
God really does work in strange ways doesn't he. Like you I too was reluctant to even get a computer, much less get on the internet. Our oldest son talked us into it a little over a year ago, and now I wonder what I ever did without it. And yes, my Hubby too says he created a monster.
As a matter of fact I don't know if you were coming to TKL back in May or not, but a gal named Janie in Arkansas and I became very good friends after posting to each other here at TKL. We shared e-mail addresses and talked a lot about our families etc. We eventually talked by phone and on May 22, we finally met in person when my Hubby and I made the trip to AR as part of our vacation. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. None of this would have been possible if I had not gotten a computer and an ISP.
I do have one more question, can I substitute applesauce for the oleo in the pound cake ? I would think it might work there, but probably not in the lemon bars.
I'm going to try out some of your recipes this weekend. Hubby has a sweet tooth that won't quit, so no problem wondering who will eat everything.
Thanks again and I'm glad to know I have already helped you, I don't feel quite so guilty about all the typing you have done.
