Misc.
Hi,

It's been quite a while ago since I posted some of the interesting books I read during a two week period. I make regular trips to our local library and then forget to come into this area of TKL to share what I am reading.

This is what I have for this week:

The Operator by Tom King
Story about David Geffen- builds, buys, and sells the new Hollywood.
If you love the Hollywood scene, this is both fascinating and intriguing. Can't put this one down....I go to spleep with it and I spend my days with it.

Katie Brown Entertains by Katie Brown
Contains 16 menus, 16 occasions and an unbelievable assortment of ideas on decorating for get-togethers, too cute for words!!

The Mediterranean Pantry by Aglaia Kremezi
All about creating and using condiments and seasonings. Superb pictures, wonderful inspirations for us cooks....

Consuming Passions by Michael Lee West. She is the author of She Flew The Coop and American Pie.
This is a deliciously quirky memoir of an adventourous food-obsessed life laced with delicious secret recipes passed down from generation to generation. This is Southern writing at its best. Don't miss this one.

The Blue Bottle Club by Penelope J. Stokes.
This is about the 1929 Depression, four hopeful girls write down their youthful aspirations and seal it in a cobalt-blue bottle and vow to remain friends for life. 65 years later....the story takes off with what has transpired in their lives.

Well that's it for now.

Happy Reading!!! Gina
