re: Ball pectin

I have an update on the Ball Liquid Pectin. I called Jarden Home Products, the parent co. for Ball and Kerr. Their customer service # 1-800-240-3340 x5. I spoke with a very nice lady there. She said she has heard of a few people with the same problem. She doesn't have an answer other than to try the re-do with "that other brand" (Certo) since I had already tried a re-do with Ball that did not work. She told me she will send some coupons to help replace the lids I'm going to lose. And she had me leave a message for the Dept Manager regarding the problem. I don't know what they can do. Maybe a product quality check or something.

Anyway, if everyone that has a problem with this calls, maybe something can be done to fix the product......Lee
