Re: Ruby Pearls Peaches N' Dumplins

Misc.

David, keep your messages acomin. Although I was born and raised on a farm in Missouri, my ancestors are from the South. Your favorite meal is one of my favorites also. I grew up not knowing that we didn't have a lot of money at the time. The tables always groaned with all the vegetables, fruits, and meats that we raised ourselves (cured our own meat to in the smokehouse with lots of good hickory wood!) I still cook mostly down-home country style (and a lot of that is southern cooking). You bring back a lot of memories of when I was growing up! You really ought to consider writing a book. I love your way with words (and memories.) So keep your posts acomin and I'll keep a readin' em.
