oh David...

Misc.

I just found this post and had to scroll down to the beginning to read them all. Sometimes I just have time to read a couple of boards and lately I've been concentrating on my daughter's 1st birthday so the party board has been my hangout. Needless to say, I will be hanging on the edge of my seat for your new posts! I can't wait. Truthfully, I have never tried fried green tomatos or many of the other recipes so I guess I need to widen my horizon. I grew up on what I have seen many here call trailer trash-hamberger helper, etc. But I am trying to be a good cook to my family and TKL and my "Family" here is really helping me out. I still cook most of my food the easy way but I love "hard" comfort food. Meaning most of my recipes come from shortcuts but they are still very good I think, yet I do get time on occasion to spend more time in the kitchen. Hope to hear from you soon.
