Your favorite meal sounds wonderful and brings back so many wonderful memories. My mom now cooks with very little fat and it just isnt' the same.

A couple of months ago, my cousins and I were remembering how we used to go to Granny Morton's for Sunday dinner. We would sit on the bench that sat up against the wall at that big ole long table that took up most of the kitchen while our parents and Pawpaw and Granny sat around the table. Granny would cook up fired chicken, white gravy (my mother still can't make white gravy like Granny's). There was green beans, tomatoes and cucumbers fresh from the garden.
