Special seeding tool.

Misc.

There is a special "tool" for seeding, pureeing tomatoes. I don't know what it is called, I inherited my Mom's, but I have seen them at Wal-Mart recently. It looks like a saucepan with a metal wire mesh bottom and a handle sticking out the top attached to a blade. You put the softened tomatoes in the pot, turn the handle and the juice and fine pulp flows into the pot (that you put underneath first). Stew the tomatoes to really soften them to make tomato sauce. You want the pulp to pass through easily. This tool is usually used for making juice.
