Recipe(tried): Hungarian Goulash Better Homes and Gardens (variation)

Here is a photo of the Hungarian Goulash recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook from 1970/1971. When my husband and I were first married and broke as a joke, I used to make this using ground beef instead of the round steak to make it cheaper and it was still good. Made it this past winter for some friends and one of the guy friends said, "This is goulash???" This is also when I learned to make homemade noodles as the recipe was there along with it.
