15-MINUTE CREAMY FETTUCCINE ALFREDO
8 oz fettuccine, uncooked
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, cut in cubes
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
1/2 cup heavy (whipping) cream
1/8 tsp fresh grated nutmeg (for garnish)
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
In a large saucepan, stir together the cream cheese, parmesan, butter, and heavy cream. Heat, stirring, until smooth.
Add hot, cooked fettuccini, and toss until well covered.
Serve immediately, sprinkled with nutmeg.
Makes 4 servings
