Recipe: BBQ Beef Sandwiches (using dried beef)

Sandwiches
BBQ BEEF SANDWICHES

2 tablespoons margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
I green bell pepper, chopped
1 (4 1/2 oz.) pkg. Armour Star Sliced Dried Beef, rinsed, chopped
1 cup BBQ sauce
46 hamburger buns, toasted

Saute onions in margarine until soft.

Add green pepper and saute briefly.

Add dried beef and BBQ sauce. Simmer on medium heat for 1 minute.

Serve over toasted buns.

MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS:
In microwave-safe bowl, combine margarine and chopped onion; microwave on high for 2 minutes, Stir in chopped green pepper, microwave on high 1 minute. Add dried beef and BBQ sauce; microwave on high 4-6 minutes or until hot, stirring every 2 minutes.

Makes 4 to 6 sandwiches
