Recipe(tried): Blu' Nana Bread (Gerald and Betty Ford's Blueberry Banana Bread)

2 cups sugar
2 sticks (1 cup) butter, room temperature
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups sifted flour, divided
5 ripe bananas, mashed
3 tsp allspice
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups frozen or fresh blueberries
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans.
Cream together sugar and butter.
Beat in eggs and vanilla. Fold in 2 cups of the flour and mashed bananas.
Place remaining 2 cups of the flour less 2 Tbsp in a sifter and add allspice, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Sift and fold into banana mixture.
Sprinkle blueberries with remaining flour and fold into batter. Divide batter into both prepared pans.
Bake for approximately 50 minutes. Test with toothpick to determine if bread is done.
