Recipe(tried): Broccoli Additions

Hi Maria, All suggestions below are great! We steam them together and also when in season, like now, I buy 'brocooflower'. It is a cross between broccoli and cauliflower. It looks like green cauliflower. We lke any of the pre-packaged Knorr Sauce Mixes. ie: Creamy Pesto,, alfredo, Lemon Herb, Mustard Herb, Four Cheese or Hollandaise. (on & on) Sour cream is also good. There is also a Knorr vegetable seasoning in spice section that is good on anything. I am not tring to advertise but these are quick, easy and very good. Sometimes we don't have time to make a 'homemade' sauce. Also, steam some baby carrots with and toss over pasta with a sauce from above. Enjoy! My husband and I like steamed vegetables alone but, I have to "doctor" them up for the children! You can also mix some cream of mushroom soup with steamed vegies and top with French's French Fried Onions, (they come in a can) and grated cheese and run under broiler or microwave. {Can mix sour cream with soup also} Well, enough suggestions. I make up most things I make and will give space for others to help you! All above are tried and true by the way.
