My favorite recipe for broccoli and cauliflower can be made with either, or both.
One head of cauliflower
1 bunch broccoli
mayo
mustard
cheddar cheese
Steam both and then put in a casserole dish. Mix mayonaise with mustard, my favorite is about 3 parts mayo to 1 part dijonaise but yellow mustard works well too (if you find you like this dish, try to add some flovored mustards WITH the dijonaise or yellow next time-it's great!). You will need enough to make a thin layer on top of the combined veggies. Grate enough cheddar to cover the veggies and put it in the oven on 350 until the cheese melts or microwave it.
Other ideas:
Buy some cheddar cheese soup-cambells-and use the sauce recipe-I think it takes just a little milk, not a whole can, and pour it over the top
There is a kraft topping in the parmesion cheese section of the store, it is exactly the stuff you get with mac and cheese, it has no fat (or low fat) and is great for all kinds of stuff sprinkled on after it is hot (potatoes, veggies, rice, pasta)
OK, so I love cheese!
Sprinkle either with parm. cheese and garlic
